Honey Dark Lager

DeVaughns Honey is a Dark Lager made from the finest roasted malt. To produce this dar lager we roasted the malted barley at a high temperature, which gives the beer an extraordinarily smooth and full flavoured taste with hints of honey and liquorice.

First Attempt

Initially my approach towards designing the beer label was to give it an elegant yet eerie appeal which seemed fitting for the nature of the product to be consumed. Though a fun design to produce, I began to realize the flaws in the design after taking a step back to examine it. Aside from the terrible mistake of using a font that would even remotely resemble Papyrus, the completed design was far to dark to be appealing when considering that act of standing out on a shelf of beers in ones local market.

Final

With the reasons stated above in mind, the Honey lager design was produced to not only be legible but create a sense of fulfillment toward quenching your thirst on a night out. DeVaughns Honey Dark Lager, the only nectar you'll need.
